Faculty of Oriental Learning and Punjab University Main Library Organize Workshop for Post-Doctoral Fellowship Scholars


The Faculty of Oriental Learning, University of the Punjab, Lahore, in collaboration with the Punjab University Main Library, successfully conducted a workshop and orientation program for the first batch of Post-Doctoral Fellowship scholars from all departments of the faculty.
The program, initiated by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Learning, focused on "Artificial Intelligence, E-Learning, and Research Tools for Languages in the 21st Century." Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreem served as the focal person for the event.
In his presidential address, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran highlighted the faculty's commitment to enhancing the quality of teaching and research in Oriental languages, inspired by the vision of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, Vice Chancellor of the University of the Punjab. He emphasized the importance of equipping teachers with the skills necessary for the digital age, stating, "We are enthusiastic about improving the quality of teaching and research in Oriental languages, and we are doing our best to train our teachers according to the new era of e-learning and artificial intelligence."
Other notable speakers included Prof. Dr. Baseera Ambreem, Prof. Dr. Hamid Ashraf Hamdani, Prof. Dr. Naveed Shehzad, Prof. Dr. Khwaja Zahid Aziz, and Dr. Haroon Usmani.
The participants received certificates at the end of the session, marking a successful conclusion to the workshop.
